I guess Sam Perlozzo in Baltimore, but I don't really think it's his fault that the O's suck.

The first manager to be fired WILL BE Joe Torre, in New York with the boss winning is everything and the Yankees are just finding new ways to lose now it seems, either Torre or Cashman won't make it through the season if this keeps up. I really don't believe the Boss when he says Torre is safe, Cashman may be shown the door first but I think once he's gone Torre is gonna be following close behind.
Jerry Narron of the Reds SHOULD BE the 1st fired, the Reds horrible this year after a decent year last year. The team looks like it is going no where but further down.

I personally think that Ron Washington will be the first manager fired. Texas should not be 12.5 games out already. My reason I don't think he is a good fit in Texas is that they are in a terribly weak division aside from a streaky Angels squad. This team enters the diamond every day with Teixeira, Sosa, Young, Gagne... and oh yes Kenny Loften is even in the house. This team is under achieving and even though i don't always think it is managers fault, they take the fall more times than not. I personally think that Torre is really lucky he is so tight with the big man, cause Steinbrenner put it on Brian Cashman by saying "hes on a big hook" and any other team in the bigs Torre's run would have written its final chapter in N.Y.
Ned Yost --manager of the year in National (Brewers)
Terry Francona ---manager of the year American (Bosox)

Anyone that says Joe Torre is an idiot. Steinbrenner knows how good he is and that there is no one to replace him that would be better. I think it will be Narron from the Reds which isn't really fair. That is a flawed team and no one would be able to win with what he has available. I think it should be Buddy Bell in Kansas City. They should of never hired him in the first place, but he's taken a young team with promise and hasn't shown any improvement. The guy has never won at any of hid managerial stops and the new GM should bring in his own guy.

Don't know if he will be the first but if the Yanks continue their losing streak Joe Torre will be looking for a new job. Does last year jog anyone's memory? He was on the verge of being dismissed then. George had to give way to fan and media pressure. Rightfully so I think he is a superb manager and has the statistics to prove it. But we all know how George can be.

Joe Torre. Joe Torre because the Yankees need a new infusion of discipline and leadership. Whatever Torre is doing this year is not working.

Jerry Narron of the Reds. They've gotten off to a terrible start and it doesn't look much better.
