i have this... plate or bowl thingy made of rock, has the shape LIKE CEREAL BOWL so it's NOT LIKE GOLDIES' BOWL. its waterproof and its circle from above with diameter of 47cm, height 14cm. not very hard to imagine, right?
i'm trying to make a lil "outdoor pond" for fish with plants and rocks. what kind of fish are best for these?

help's appreciated, thanks.

Sorry, but not a good idea. If this was a cylinder with those dimensions, it's still less than 25 liters (about 6.4 gallons). If it's a bowl with a rounded bottom, it's even less.

The wide top will also mean faster water evaporation and it's not deep enough (about 5.5 inches) to keep the water temperature from rising in the sun. Plus you probably won't keep it filled to the top - and without a cover (which would trap heat) your fish may jump out. The shallow depth would also mean the fish will be more easy for predators to catch.

Small goldfish. But, bring them indoors in the winter. Which means aquarium (unless you live in the south).

Nothing living should be kept in that tiny little bowl.
