How do I get rid of the stuff in the easiest possible way, ideally while retaining some money for it?

Try freecycle.com and freecycle cafe....it is a wonderful site that helps the community you live in....freecycle is FREE. you just give your crap away. Freecycle Cafe you can charge money.....check it out, i have been a member since the conception.....I love it. Feels good to give and receive....

Well have the yard sale and get what you can, then check out freecycle.org and give away the left overs. People will come and pick it up and it will be off your hands and doing some one else some good, (you can't sell it there so just the stuff you can't sell in a yard sale, everything on freecyle has to be free)

Have you ever seen that show Clean Sweep? The recommend going room by room setting up three piles - keep, trash, sell - divide sell by Ebay and yard sale.

eBay is the best way, but only if you have time for it. Donating it is nice, but a yard sale is fun. We'll be moving too and will probably have one.

Have a yard sale and make what you can.Call DAV to pick up whatever does not sell,get a receipt and use it as a tax deduction.
