that depends on a lot of factors-
Does your work offer medical?
Do you drive?
Do you have a car payment?
What are you paying in insurance?
How much does everthing cost in the area you wish to live in?
Lets say you have health insurance but need the works, and have decided to rent a room from someone at 400 a month w/s/g included
so rent
400
Cell phone
85
Electric split three ways
30
Cable splitt three ways
30
Internet split three ways
30
Auto insurance
150
Gas
200
Food
300
all of these are adjustable though, it really depends on what you want to live with and how you want to live.
To get a idea of how much rent goes for in a month look on craigslist, also get insurance quotes and start buying your own food at your parents, you'll start to get a good idea of what you can and can't afford.

You need to figure out what your monthly expenses would be. There's rent, utilities, phone, food, car, gasoline, maybe school expenses, clothing, insurance. These are just the basics. Much of it depends on where you live. For instance, I live in Orlando, Florida and it's quite expensive to live here. It may be cheaper wherever you are. I wish you luck and hope you can swing it. It's exciting to be on you own, but a little scary, too.

depends how much you are willing to pay for rent, electricity, food, car, gas, ect. I would suggest having a room mate which can be annoying but it will help with the bills. Your location also matters some cities rent can be cheap where others are not so cheap.

Well, let's see....every state is different of course but here....
Rent $800-$1000/Car $100-300/Insurance $75-$200/Gas $50-100/Utilities $100-150/Food $100-200/Cell $25-50/Cable $40-75/Fun/clothes $100-$150
So.......$1390-2225!
And no offense, but if you couldn't figure that out on your own you may not be ready.
