Every time Rosie is challenged or criticized she almost ALWAYS throws out "your picking on me because I am gay". She did it on the "View" with Elizabeth, and has done it almost EVERY time she is challenged for her nut views.

Because she feels as though the only way she can get people on her side is play the victim and get sympathy. To turn the glare on her opponent so that they don't notice that she could possibly be wrong. She also has gotten whatever she's wanted, when she wanted it. So, when she doesn't get which she wants, which in this case would be people agreeing with her and getting people on her side, she resorts to silly tactics. Being gay is just something she can use to blame when she doesn't get what she wants.

I don't know, but I totally agree. I thought her role on the show was to express her view IN COMPARISON to others on the show, she has lately made the show all about her. Ellen doesn't do that,
Anyway don't let Rosie represent the LGBT community for you.... she is just one of the thousands

That's a shallow reply. Maybe her views are just plain nuts.
I'm in no position to judge though since I haven't actually heard any of her views, but with all the anti-gay crap these days, you can't blame her either (but why does she have to be so...gay about it LoL)

Also, she could be self concious
Plus, it is a form of her defense when she is challenged
She just takes the law against hate crimes to far and I would honestly say, "She is a disgrace to all of what myself stands for."

personally I pick on her because she is ugly and has a nasty personality. if a person wants to be gay, fine , then be gay. but do not use being gay as an excuse everytime you can. who cares. she can be a butch all she wants. could careless. but that is a lifestyle choice that she made and do not want to be reminded on it everytime i have the misfortune of seeing her on tv. i can only hope her 15 minutes of fame is over and she can fade into a butch lesbian abyss.

plain and clear that shes a lesbian. I think its quite funny
though. I mean the whole Im gay thing is just crazy to me
like we understand your gay and its weird that she does

FTR, she doesn't ALWAYS throw her sexual preference into people's faces...99% of the time it's the media that does it. I've rarely heard her use that as an excuse for anything.

Don't watch any of that stuff but I see it on my boss's T.V.. My guess would be underlying insecurities about WHO she is, not "WHAT". It's usually the most vocal people who have the most serious identity problems.

she uses all kinds of excuses and is overly sensitive about any disagreement
so, the homosexuality thing is just her excuse for not being able to intelligently defend her own views
