How muc money do you make when you are in a medical school residency?

I have several friends who are residents and they start out at $30K and make a little more through the years - but not alot more until they are official doctors. That's in New Orleans, La. Hope it helps!

Depends where you are....$30,000 to $50,000.

I made about 35,000 in 1998 as a medical resident in Baltimore, MD, whereas my friend made 48,000 in Long Island, NY.
