He is not a commentator for the game but is a commentator in the show after most Red Sox games on NESN. He is great!! Jim Rice also shares that role from time to time.

He started and ended his career in Boston, so why not join up doing analysis for the Red Sox own network? I think he even moved his family here during his last couple years, if they even left.
