My car is thrown forward I mean there is a sudden movement after changing the gear what is my problem?

You may not be fully disengaging the clutch, so when you shift gears, the clutch partially engages and it lurches, which most likely happens when you go from 1st to 2nd and you don't let off the gas enough. The lighter the car and the more powerful the engine, the more likely this lurch is to happen from partial disengagement of the clutch. By the way, if this is what is happening, you are doing a lot of abnormal wear on the synchromesh which is why you are not grinding gears. This same effect can happen at the end of life of the clutch when the throwout bearing and clutch plate are worn out. Even though you depress to the floor, the worn throwout bearing does not fully disengage the clutch, and the worn clutch plate tends to "grab" when the lining gets really thin because of leaking oil from the rear main seal getting into the clutch and saturating the lining.

I have a Manual transmission also, and when i first started to learn stick, i aslo felt the "buck" as i like to call it. Mainly its your letting go or "dumping" the clutch, withouth giving any gas to accelerate. If you let the clutch go a little easier and give some gas as your lettin go of the clutch, you should notice a little smoother transition from gear to gear. Down shifting is the same way, although a little more rough then shiftin up. To sum it all up i like to say its an "equalibrium" when shifting, you wanna give as much gas as your lettin go of the clutch pedal, if that makes sense ha.

There should be a return spring hooked to the top of the clutch pedal & 'firewall' to return the pedal to its normal position. Have a look ( using a torch ) to see if this has happened.

The clutch is not releasing completely when you press the petal to the floor. Linkage needs adjustment, or reservor if it is a hydraulic cluth llinkage, needs filling, Bottom line, have a competent mechanic check it out, clutch operation is critical!

You're supposed to let up off of the gas when you push in the clutch, and in proper sync.

Assuming you are a capable driver, the first answer given (the broken motor mount) is what I would suspect

your problem is common and is very easy to fix. trade your car for an automatic. you have no business driving standard and you pose a danger to the public. get off the street and drive an automatic or take transit
