well it can be both if you fail you most likely will begin again and give it all you got. but if you fail and you want to give up and not try it any more by all means. How I look at failure is you should pick yourself up after wards and if you can accept and move on with your life you really succeed

Failure makes one to learn and do better in the future. One should never get dejected with failures rather it should be an inspiration to move ahead. Failure never comes all the time if one learns its mistakes but if one gives up easily then that person is a big failure.
