The original story that George Lucas wrote was made up of three "chapters". These three "chapters" were each divided into three movies...the "middle" chapter was Episode IV, V and VI, while the "first" chapter was Episode I, II and III.

There exists a story for episodes VII, VIII, and IX, but Lucas has said he does not intend to make them. Perhaps he or his estate will allow some new filmmaker to produce those.

I don't think that there will be another Star Wars movie. The tagline in Revenge of the Sith is: The saga is complete, which directly says that the Star War's series of events has been told and will no longer make any more prequels or sequels.

I doubt there will be one directly related to the original trilogy, but there may be star wars related movies coming out sometime in the future since George Lucas could always use more money.

Lucas was talking of making the next three - 7,8, & 9.

He was talking about using the original actors as they are old enough to play the characters as they are in the novels.

I dont know which movie it is from but Luke turns to the dark side. Han and Leia have kids which have jedi powers, thats all I know.

not from Lucas. however, some one will get the rights and do a rip off copy of the next 3. guess they be called postquels. back in early 80's I did hear of the pre and post after jedi was made.
