NS is@#%%^ awesome, Not only does he play a mean bass, he writes music, books, is in bands other than crue, into photography,designing clothing and jewelry, keeps his own website, and donates to runaway children.

Nikki Sixx is a great guitarist, but his drug habit has always been a problem for him. You know, the Crue talks cr@p about GN'R, but it was Izzy and Slash who saved Nikki's life once when he over dosed on heroin.
BTW the bass is a type of guitar. Don't get snarky with me!

Nikki sixx is a legend, who cares about the heroin,. the two best bass players in the world used it...(Dee Dee Ramone and Sid Vicious)....now that i think about they both died from a heroin overdose, oh well. Nikki sixx rocks

I would not call him one of the BEST bass players around. If you think that then you have not heart the late John Entwhistle, Chris Squire, or Roger Waters or Sting for that matter. He wrote some great songs and I got drunk to Home Sweet Home quite a bit while in the military overseas.

Great musician, nice guy. I've met him twice and both times he was very nice and interested in what I thought about their new songs at the time. I've seen them play quite a few times and I think he's a talented performer.

Nikki is cool, he's one of those hair band guys who has been through some extreme partyin and is a laid back guy now.

nikki is not the greatest bass player of all time, but seems to be down to earth musician. mick mars however, very under rated

I saw Motley Crue during their Red White and Crue tour. Great performer.
