My teacher is reading it in french. I can understand french but there are so many distractions and we're already almost done the book. And there's going to be a test at the end of the book and it's going to affect our mark on our report card. Somethings she talks about I don't even remember. Can someone help me to tell me what happens in every single chapter? Thanks a million.

Some of the major points may be sufficient, It's essentially a story of a couple divorcing and the resultant effects on the children. 12yr old Karen is the main character, she has an older brother Jeff and a younger sister Amy. Karen's parent's fight and argue with each other a lot - they just can't get along. Eventually her Father moves out of the house and says he's going to file for divorce - Karen's mother is happy about that. Karen tries many ways to prevent her parents from divorcing including sending them fake anniversary cards from 'each other' and even pretending to be sick so they would have to interact together to try to make her well.
