when I input Chinese character and save to db2, the output on the web is UTF-8 code. why?

when I input Chinese character and save to db2, the output on the web is UTF-8 code. why?

the code page have been set to 1208 but still the output cant be shown in chinese characters. do anyone have the answer/solution to it? i really need your help and i will appreciate it.

The WEBPAGE has to output in Chinese codepage too...
