Start with some homemade roux and add some onions,garlic, shrimp,crab meat, and some crawfish.Sounds good.I'll make the rice.

Well you could try this recipe...
Alaska Octopus Gumbo - it would be extra special
Ingredients:
1/2 cup diced bacon
2 cups water
1 pint fresh octopus, steamed until tender
2 cups slightly undercooked steamed rice
1 pound canned tomatoes
1 can okra
1/2 cup diced onions
1 diced green pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 cup diced celery
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Boil bacon in water for 15 minutes, then add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer together for ten minutes. Serve with warm cornbread.
