I am sensitive to scents and have found that cheap perfume gives me a headache. Never the expensive stuff for some reason.

Yes I can tell if a person is using cheap perfume like Avon .the scents is so strong,and musky, but the expensive are mild and the scent is cool..

The cheaper it is, the worse it smells (usually). There are some cheap colognes that smell like a mix of gas and bleach. I think Axe is the worst smelling stuff a man could ever spray on himself.

they way you can tell if someone is wearing cheap clothing...
you can also tell....
from the notes of the perfume...
a quality perfume has many different " dry downs" ( industry speak for how a perfume changes while wearing it.)
it's not weird..it's the international flavors and fragrance industry...part of the fashion industry.

Yeah, if the perfume burns your nostrils or makes you ill to your stomach, it's eau de toilete!!!! Just because it costs $80-$100 does'nt mean you should buy it, nor wear it out of doors!

You can smell all of the alcohol in it. Perfume isn't supposed to SMELL, its only supposed to make you smell a little better.

well, if you mean the price range, i don't think their is a way to tell but as for where you bought it like the fleamarket or something then it won't smell and u will smell that persons BO

they blow cheese and if the perfume overpowers the fumes, it's real. if the stale wind pales the air, then it's a cheap imitation.
