I'm not saying every American is a snob.. I'm simply suggesting that Americans should get out of their own country and get some fresh air. There's a whole world out there that most of us have never even stepped into.

what Americans are you talking about? the rich ones in bell aire and the Hampton's? the ones living in the Bronx and Compton? are you trying to clump in every American as being one? or are you aware of the diversity in America and each individuals views?

If we knew how to speak the language, knew the customs, could be assured that we wouldn't get into trouble or lose money, and could be treated as normal instead of stared at, we probably would. I'd love to check out some other countries but I don't know where to go to learn how to talk (not learn the stilted proper school statements) and what the proper procedures are. It would be sad to be treated rudely or ignored completely because I don't have the resources to learn. If that makes me a snob, okay.

which most Americans are you talking about ??
i think u should speak for yourself and let me give u a knowledge
i thought u should have known it better since u claim to be an American
America is a very cosmopolitan diverse nation, people from all around the world choose to live here
and i m not sure which Americans snobs are u talking about, i think your assumptions are based on the few people that u have known
so speak for yourself

I've had people say I act a little snobbish, but it's really just that I'm quiet and shy and don't talk a lot to other people. People that know me better know that I'm not snobbish, and I have many friends from other countries.
