I think Carlie is an adorable short for Charlotte, and I think Reese would be a cute middle name - remember, you'll be using it whenever she's in trouble, and Charlotte Reese, and/or Carlie Reese are both so cute, you'll forget why she was in trouble! I've also seen the spelling Reice, has a little more girlie twist to it.. :) Good luck!

Personally if she were my baby I would call her charlotte and forget about a nick name. Otherwise. What about calling her Char. I like that. or Charley, or Lotte
Carly isn't even close to being like the name Charlotte, nor does Carlie. Might as well name her Carly ior Carlie.

I wouldn't think of using Carly as a nickname for Charlotte but you can really use any nickname you want. I would have used Charlie. I like Carly a lot. Why don't you just name her Carleigh?

I think Charlie is a better nickname for Charlotte. If you intend to call her Carly, I would either name her Carly (which is a good name) or I would name her Carla.

I always think middles names should be fun with a bit of whimsy for a girl. Something feminine and distinct.
Carlie/Carly is ok....it does come to mind as a touch of an older woman's name. Perhaps, Char (Shar) or even Charly?
