Laura is right, it all depends in your point of view. But there is this measure (just like GDP) called HPI that "reflects the average years of happy life produced by a given society, nation or group of nations, per unit of planetary resources consumed. Put another way, it represents the efficiency with which countries convert the earth’s finite resources into well-being experienced by their citizens".
According to this site, the countries with higher HPI are:
1 Vanuatu
2 Colombia
3 Costa Rica
4 Dominica
5 Panama
Sorry guys but USA appears in the place 150 which shows that high levels of resource consumption do not reliably produce high levels of well-being. :P

It's all a matter of opinion. Some people say Brazil, because of the free sexuality atmosphere. Some people fancy Sweden and Denmark because of the free healthcare and retirement plans. Some people say America, because we are under the impression that this is the country with the most freedom.

I believe Luxembourg can take the trophy on this one. It's a small european nation that has an above average general happiness rating and it's citizens make more money than the national average of most other countries.

I can't believe so many people said the USA. That's a pretty bold thing to say. Especially since the whole world seems to hate us right now. Anyway. I think every country has their pros and cons. Everyone has their own definition of perfection.

I'd say the USA, but we definitely have our share of problems. Maybe Antarctica; no government or laws or politics there!

Easy- the USA duh! Its pretty fair, pretty free and pretty enjoyable. Although most people believe their nation is the best no matter where they live- well maybe not North Koreans.
