Going back a bit, I always thought to be Vincent Damphousse or Patrice Brisebois and play for the Montreal Canadiens would be a fabulous combination. Yvon Cournoyer (Corn-Y-A) is right with them.

Turning to the south, Dixon Ward should have fit in nicely with the Carolina Hurricanes. Can't you just see him on the NASCAR circuit with that name?

Jarkko Ruutu never gets old. It's funny when Buffalo plays Philly because then you have "Afinogenov" and "Afanasenkov" on ice at the same time and even Rick Jeanneret slips up. The best has to be poor Jochen Hecht, though. He's the butt of so many puns and jokes!

I am in no way a fan of this guy, but Bates Battaglia has got to be a classic hockey name. It just sounds like a mob thug you'd meet in a dark alley...

It's a tie for me between Jarkko Ruutu and Jussi Jokinen

Mine is Janne Niinima. It kind of flows.

And not a joke, but years ago he was apparently dating a girl named Nina. Could you imagine if they got married. Her name would have been Nina Niinima. Priceless.

Vyacheslav Kozlov!

And Miroslav Satan. ("Somebody hit Satan!")

Our ECHL team played a team during last year's Kelly Cup playoffs who had a kid named "Banan". A bunch of us sat behind their bench and banged plastic bananas on the glass for the whole series.
