I already have those anti- banging spouts thing on the water pipes. I've tried to release the air in the pipes like someone suggested and there is still this loud thump when washing clothes , what gives?

whem water is turned on to the machine, to fill it,, the hoses get a spurt of pressure,, and gets an errection, slamming against the back of your machine, or the wall!,, try repositioning the connection hoses, so they are in a neutral position,,maybe watch them with a mirror, so you know how to adjust them in the right direction. This will surely fix it,,quick.

Are you certain the noise is from the water? Turn off the hose bib and run the machine. If there is no noise, turn on the hose bib and fill up the tub. If you have noise, is the water accompanied with air? Does the water pulse out, or is it constant? Are you in a hi-rise building, or a single home?

It's called water hammer, to work properly your dampeners need to be on the lowest points possible on the supply line.
