Yes I truly have. I have a friend that throws a bad attitude at me almost everyday, but I change it immediately with my jokes and laughter.
I have another friend that is always talking about how poor she is (when she really isn't) and how much her life sucks. I go along with it and show her the bright side instead of the dark side. Also that same friend does not do very well in school so I am always helping her get nice grades so she participate in sports so she can loose some weight.
I give my friends happiness when they need it, help when they need it, and a good friend to always rely on.

I try to support my friends when the need me because they have always been there when I needed them. Sometimes I don't know how to help or what to say, but I'll always listen and let them cry on my shoulder.

yeah of course i always am there to support my friends. they are always there to support me. if i didn't support them then that wouldn't be being a good friend. i wouldn't even probably have that friend right now.I would have some bum friend like you for even asking this question in the first place. try asking yourself this question because maybe your not giving your friend the support they need....

I am always available to all of my close friends if they need me.

I try, but it seems that she's been real flaky about hanging out and following through with plans because shes upset I guess.
