Considering that the 'liberal left' exists only in the minds of the reactionary right it would be a difficult club to join. What the right wing talk show bozos never explain to the ditto-heads is that when they dump on the 'usual suspects' as stated in the above post they're talking about a strawman. Given that the people mentioned tend to fairly mainstream God knows how they would react to a real for real commie. For the reactionary right to get any publicity at all for their goofy retro ideas they have to have an enemy to distinguish themselves. So, they invented the 'liberal'...a critter much like Emmanual Goldstein in the novel 1984.....always plotting against 'Big Brother'. It's totally pathetic. If their policies were realistic they wouldn't need the hard sell...but don't tell them that.....they require their fantasy world of waving flags and a retreat into a world that never was.

Because we have every bit as much right to our beliefs as the Republican has! Al Sharpton is not a politician. The democrats are to be thanked if anyone has had a student grant or loan or are receiving social security, and many other things that help those who are less fortunate! We do not have a dictatorship yet.

Al Sharpton is not a politician. He thinks he is and evidently you do but, he is not.
I am not a part of the liberal left. I cannot see anything that would make me want to be a con either in the conservative right with Bush, Cheney, Rove, Delay.....etc.

Sadly, same reason as those of us on the right support Bush, Cheney, Frist, Hastert (thank God the last two are out of power), and all the other Republican Congressional leaders who have done squat.

Liberals have ALWAYS fought for:
CLEAN AIR
CLEAN WATER
CIVIL RIGHTS
VOTING RIGHTS
EQUAL RIGHTS
ENDANGERED SPECIES
SOCIAL SECURITY
MEDICARE
MEDICAID
These are all ACTUAL NAMES OF LAWS that LIBERALS HAVE FOUGHT FOR and CONSERVATIVES, REPUBLICANS AND RIGHTWINGERS HAVE FOUGHT TO DESTROY.
If you are FOR any of the above, then you share the views of LIBERALS.
