technically you can't stop the virus, some people are born with it b/c their parents had it but you can slow it down until it is probably non-existant.
how: condoms and educating more people.

We have to keep up the awareness. New AIDS cases in the 90's dropped by HALF because of paranoia (but aware they all were of the dangers!) New cases were cropping up after the year 2000 because people were becomming complacent. The social acceptance of rape in Africa has been it's fall. Only now they see that America wasn't lying. The average life span of most Africans is about 35.

Aids has been around for a long time and never got any attention until it hit this country full force. It really can't be stopped unless you can somehow:
stop unprotected sex
stop intravenous drug useage
stop homosexuals from have unprotected sex, also
What are the chances of any of these happening????

No one Shares Needles or anything that you could share that might cause it.
Get checked regularly and if you are get treated immediately and then stay super healthy
It may not stop it but it is a good start

We literally have to stop having sex, stop using needles and stop sharing blood. Then the virus will burn out and become extinct.
Of course none of those things are possible so it wont happen.

This is what is called mission impossible,, but even mission impossible was successfully accomplished by tom cruise, so the answer is yes we can stop it but deciding not to have sex with more than one person.

As of now all we can do it help: Donate money, and Have protected sex all the time. Also get tested for HIV. And watch 'Rent' as many times as you can because its an awesome movie!!

Hmm....hard question to answer. Personally I have never known anyone to have aids....but I know it is a very severe epedemic.

People should wise up and stop being overly sexual, and stop having unprotected sex. People should also stop sleeping with 100's of different people. It's pretty preventable.

Require everyone who wants to have sex to get an HIV test first, then a license to practice safe sex- kind of like a driver's license.
