I was reading about culture when I ran into this website. I realize I am really late, but it kind of interested me. I'm part Pacific Islander and part Hispanic so I don't suffer from a white American bias. I am more of a 3rd party outsider looking in. First, I think it is unfair to say "all" white Americans because there is no such thing as "all" when it comes to culture. And that goes to say for every country. You can say most (like 99%), but not all (entailing 100%). I think the closest thing is racism since nearly all white Americans are racist, but that's not AUTHENTIC to America. After thinking about it for 5 min. I can up with the whole car racing culture, meaning NASCAR, Hot Rods, and drag racing. They all originated in America and heavily related to white Americans. I'm a big car fan, likeing anything from Lowriders, to Old Schools, Hot Rods, Tuners, Boom Cars, and pretty much anything heavily customized with the exception of Donks. I can't stand those. I have been to over 20 states attending many drag racing circuits, Hot Rod shows, and even a couple NASCAR events. Believe me, they are heavily white. I feel like an ink spot in a bowl of milk when I'm there. Hot Rods started in Southern California by American GI's returning from WWII tricking out Ford Model A's and T's. Drag racing started in western US and NASCAR originated from bootleggers supping up their cars to get away from cops. So there you have it. I hope this answer suffices your question.

I kinda like the name Chad. It's a "cool kid's" name. Not considering the country, I think it is an entirely American name.

My brother's name was Rhett, an unusual Southern American name (from Gone With the Wind), which also brings to mind Brett and others like it....
