Why do they think Lulu's life will fall apart after hearing that her father raped her mother so many years ago? Lulu was never raped. Lulu knows how much her parents love each other. I don't get it.

wat i dont get is why its everyones business. wat happened between luke and laura should stay between them.
im hating lulu's character rite now bc thinks shes the $hit. it happened long ago anyway.

I think they just want to protect her from the ugly truth about her parents. She's been through so much at this point from her mother being catatonic to Luke never really being a stable father. Her whole family has seemingly fallen apart in front of her, and she is still young.They just don't want her to be hurt by the truth over what had transpired years ago, look how upset Lucky was when he found out. Yes, Lulu was never raped, but how would anyone deal with the fact that their father once raped their mother. she's gone through so much and its just her family trying to help her. They don't want to have her endure having the family trash being dug up in front of her. Hope that helps you understand.....

Lulu knows how much Luke loves Laura and I don't think she could handle knowing about the person Luke was years ago. She looks up to Luke. Could you imagine finding out that the father you love is a rapist?

But still it's not a good thing to hear that your father raped your mother. I think Lulu will be pissed off for a while but she will get over it. She is not as fragile as everyone thinks.
I love Lulu, She is my new favorite on gh.

well it will change the way she feels about her father and about her parents relationship-- when lucky found out he left home and lived in a boxcar ( he was still in high school) and it took several yrs for him to forgive luke and have a relationship with him again

I think it's more about how it would change her perception of her father & her parents relationship, since she doesn't REALLY remember them together much.
