I know of several of my older friends that have had the same problem , it took them three or more tries before they were accepted. Then there were others that got it the first time???
I think it is just a waiting game now.

Did you reapply each time, or have you filed appeals? You should have asked for a hearing the first time you were turned down. If you haven't seen a judge and have been turned down 3 times, I would assume you're reapplying. Big mistake.

Although there is a backlog with Social Security's hearings schedule, you should have some response by now. If you don't have an attorney, get one. There are special attorneys who do nothing but disability cases.

If you simply reapply after being turned down, you're starting from the beginning every time. File an appeal the next time you're turned down, or have your attorney do it for you. A date will be set for an administrative law judge to hear your case in your "disability hearing". When you file for appeals instead of re-filing, benefits go back to the day you filed initially, when and if you eventually win.

If you're filing for disability with no good reason, then this is probably the reason you keep getting the same forms to fill out. SSA has a strict test for disability.

Check out their website for more info.

I think you have to ask for a judge. Just constantly reapplying will not do it. Somewhere on the forms they send you denying your application there should be some information on how to appeal the decision.

this is a SSDI disability question. The nature of your condition and proof and history, please? They pretty much hand it out to anyone, just bear in mind when you are older and really need the benefits your benefits will be reduced.
