EVERYTHING is on the hard drive. There is not even a single file on the motherboard. Only BIOS and CMOS settings are on the board.
Just retrieve the hard drive and put it as internal slave or external drive on your next PC and you should be back in business.

Take the case apart and remove the hard drive. Find another computer you can hook your hard drive up to. You'll need to set the jumper pin on the hard drive as a slave and hook it up in another computer and you can retrieve and burn any important documents, pics, etc.

just take the hard drive out of the computer and get a new one, then put the old hard drive in the new computer, but first set it as the slave drive

remove the hard drive, and save it. it can be installed into another computer as a slave drive. you will then have access to all your data. move what you want to save to the new computer's hard drive, then reformat the old one to use for more storage.
