who,exactly are the conservatives leeching from if they pay less or no taxes,who do they expect to pay for their great patriotic war,roads,military,all the stuff they claim to be for,but won't pay for,is this hypocrisy..........are their kids and their kids,kids gonna pay for it...or are they going to man up and pay their fair share.........not likely

Your question shows a deep misunderstanding of Conservative views.

Conservatives do not oppose taxes...There is an opposition to 1- an unfair tax system and 2- to tax subsidized social programs that do little for long-term benefits.

A fair tax system is one in which people pay a proportionate amount of money compared to both what they make and to each other. The upper 10% of people should not be paying over 70% of the taxes, yet that is what is happening. Profits and earnings are taxed upwards of 2-3 times under the current system. While yes, this affects almost all rich people, this affects the middle class as well.

Secondly, failing social programs do not help anyone. For example, Conservatives oppose welfare, where there is no incentive to get off it. They do not oppose workfare, where a person is trained in a field to get them off the program. Conservatives support infastructure development, defense spending, research spending and educational spending.

So, in conclusion, don't make blanket statements because you are ill-informed or because you don't like Conservatives. Then we can all sleep well at night.

conservatives pay their fair share of taxes. I would be willing to bet that conservatives pay much more in taxes than liberals. also you must consider that most of the welfare recipients are either considered liberals (new orleans comes to mind) and or democrats. so even if we got a tax cut (I missed your previous question) we would still be paying more taxes than liberals. so in answer to your question we would not be leeching from libs. and leeching would not be an issue if the tax revenues were the same or higher anyway. in my lifetime liberals have always been the leeches, check the welfare lines.

The evil tax cuts brought in more revenue this year than any year previously. Tax cuts let people spend their own money and the money get recycled thur the community alot more than if it went to Washington.

And to GOPanic the working class pays more taxes than the poor ever will.

We just don't want to see taxes increased. Take a good look at what Congress is now doing. Some of the proposals are outrageous. They now have created a situation that they can increase taxes behind our backs and put them into effect.

More programs need to be taken out of the hands of big government and turned over to the individual states. Fair Tax should really be considered. That way we all get hit and it will be fair and square.
