One sad moment in history, men lowered their standard of beauty, class, and the splendid awe of a women like Ms Hepburn[who from what I have read was just as beautifully classy off stage as on] for an easier looking conquest. Most men these days are not capaple of dreaming that big, and most women are happy to lower themselves to the lowest common denominator to have a man around. As the widow of a man who did not lower his standard, I will settle for the respect of my family and friends and the company of my horse.

I agree! Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress. Hollywood can be very riscay nowadays

The moral decline of western civilization is amplified in Hollywood starlets. When life was simpler and cleaner, we had Audrey. Now that morals are going south, you get Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears and the like.

Ironically, I just had this conversation with someone recently & we came to the conclusion that, these days, fame is about publicity & any publicity is good publicity so, they don't seem to care about how they get noticed. It's sad really, the level of self-respect these girls have for themselves is almost non-existent. Luckily, we still have people like Diane Keaton & Meryl Streep, amongst others, to balance out the Paris Hiltons & Lindsey Lohans of the world.

Sadly, I think the moral standards of todays society have dropped dramatically. I can't think of another 'hollywood' person that measures up to the likes of Audrey Hepburn.
I think Cate Blanchett has class compared to the trashy starlets of today.
