I am a bit curious as to why you would accept as free necklace without asking as to why its free...its like if a deal is too good to be true, it mist likely is. The woman was most likelt wanting it out of her ife, so whatever influenes would not befall her.

I would tell your friend about the origins of the necklace, and tell her you suspect that is what is going on is related to this item of jewelry. Also, if it looks old, perhaps take a picture of it and post it on the net, it may be something historical, or at least have a story atached to it. If that doesnt help. go back to the lady who gave it to you and ask for the stroy.

Firstly stop being so mean. If someone is worth giving a present to you could at least buy or make something for them not just give them any old rubbish. The necklace cannot be doing anything but clearly your friend believes that it does (maybe she knows what a cheapskate you are) so she should throw it away.

I know a lot of people believe that stones have meanings and luck, but as far as I know jade is not regarded as a "bad" stone. I don't think it can be the necklace. Your friend ought to give or throw it away, and see if anything else happens.

If your friend really believes the necklace is cursed, tell her to leave the necklace on a indoor window ledge for three nights in the moonlight to cleanse the necklace. If she is then still having loads of bad luck, then it probably has no connection to the necklace.

Jade CAN be problematic. You might try doing a cleansing. There are a number of ways to do this, but the key is to concentrate positive intention into it. I've heard that running water and moonlight can be helpful. You could also put an HHG on top of it for a couple of days.

If you were a true friend, you wouldn't give a necklace that was cursed to a good friend.

How come bad things didn't happen to you? Or did it?

You are unnecessarily connecting a piece of cheap jewelry with the events in someone's life. Get over it, it's not the necklace.

She has linked the necklace to the bad things in her mind, just get rid of it and do something nice for her in return.

alot of jewelery can be cursed, second hand jewelery. if you think about it people buy or are given jewerly, it means alot to them, it might be a gift from a special person in their lives, they wear it all their life, and in that time it absorbs so much of their energy then when they pass away some people (their spirit ) would be still attached to that peice of jewelery

she's either getting poisoned from the metal (unlikely) or it's just coincidence.

i'd do some kind of sacrifice to appease the evil demons contained within it's shiny necklacey ness. lol
