tan^2(63). How do you solve a tan^2 problem? I can't remember, and I don't have a math book. Any help is greatly appreciated

tan^2(63) = tan(63) * tan(63)

You can rewrite it as (1- cos(2 * 63))/(1 + cos(2 * 63)), but honestly, that's for doing things without calculators.

tan² 63°
= tan 63° x tan 63°
= 3.85

tan^2(63)=3.851839996
