sometimes car wont start but if i take out key and try again 8 out of 10 times will start has even died on me 2 time while driving but car didnt loose any battery power at any time and when i turn key i can hear starter turning just fine so i have ruled out anything electrical or the starter and car has no security chip so i know it is not that kinda feel like it is the fuel pump oir the fuel filter but more so the pump is what i keep coming back too

it could either be that or a relay going out on it also,you have the right ideas about it though, it does sound fuel related on this one,the filter will make it start running kind of sluggish ,just like the pump will also,but id try the filter first,this would be a cheap fix if that turned out to be it,and it sure would save a lot of work ,because those pumps aren't no fun to put in at all,and that only leaves the relay on it,other than the pump its self,you can try the filter first though,and if not i would go at the pump also,good luck with it,hope this helps.

I am assuming your car has fuel injection... Either buy a fuel pressure guage or have some check it for you. It could be the pump, the pressure regulator, or something else entirely.
