big deal about the Phil Spectre murder case, but
people were shiit n brick s about the OJ Simpson
trial. This guy is probably going to get off too just
like OJ. Phil is just about as popular as OJ in the
record industry as OJ was in sports.

When he gets off, it would be interesting to see if people will run
him off golf courses and out of
restaurants like OJ, or perhaps they
may just forget about him like
Robert Blake(Barretta).

Yes, your right. I think a big problem is alot of young people don't know who Phil is (or was) The ones that do don't seem to think the man that produced so many famous groups could do such a thing. I think he is guilty myself. He produce the album "let It Be" by The Beatles and years later worked with John Lennon and John even said he got scared of him at times for bringing guns into the studio, that was 1974!

Having been one of a few who watched every televised minute of the OJ case, I can say I'm quite happy no one is making a big deal about Spectre. I might need to research and write about it if it were more popular.
To be honest, I suspect society has grown rather weary of pop culture trials. We have been so inundated with celebrity misconduct we have begun to tune out. I could be wrong, of course, but it appears that way and I write on pop culture so I'm stuck in the abyss of hearing about it.
By the way, after investing a very long and very boring chunk of my time to the OJ fiasco, I can honestly say I don't think it was his popularity as a football player that got him off. I won't say he isn't guilty -- I don't know. But I have analyzed all of the evidence as it was presented at trial and there is an overwhelming indication he didn't perpetrate the actual act himself.
Perhaps he hired it done, though. That I cannot say. If so, he could have gotten away with murder, but he was correctly found innocent of wielding the knife that night by the standards set in USA law. The prosecution should never have limited their case the way they did. They should have waited long enough to determine if he did the actual act or was responsible for having it done.
