Vince Young will easily make the hall of fame if he keeps doing like he did this year. He basically almost single handledly took his team to the playoffs. The titans weren't good at all until Vince became starter, and this year he will make it to the playoffs.

Im so sick of people thinking he's the greatest thing to come into the NFL since Michael Vick. Lets look back to 2002 when Vick was the starter. What did he do? RUN, RUN and RUN some more. Has he done anything new since then? NO. What has Vince Young done? RUN, RUN, and more running, oh and the occasional 10 pick dump off pass when he cant run. All he did was run the Shotgun Option in Tennessee, mainly because you have to have a really stupid QB so the running can bail out his stupidity (anyone remember his 7 on the Wonderlic??)

Maybe im a little biased and scrutinizing him too much. After all he did go 8-5 as a starter, but lets look back at some of those games:

During the Giants game, NY was up 21-0 with 10 minutes left. Vince Young did not win that game, new york GAVE it away. Eli's dumba** had to be stupid and throw easy picks to set up the game. Due to the weak roughing the passer rules, Kiwanika couldnt sack Young on the 4th and 10 cause he would have grounded the ball before he was sacked, drawing the penalty.

In the Baltimore game, Vince "the great" let a 26-0 dissapear and couldnt even score another damn point losing them the game.

In the Jaguars game, he couldnt even lead his offense to 100 yards for the game and no TDs during the game.

In the Houston game, yea he had the run to win the game, but anybody remember his other stats? 2 TD and three picks against the woeful texans defense.

Bottom Line: How many highlights did we see of him being a QUARTERBACK, not a damn athlete. I'll be glad when people finally shut down that stupid Option play because he has ) receivers this year and Lendale White is garbage, and expose him for the mentally retarded, oversized imbecile he really is.

Yeah I Like the way Vince Young Plays Ball, he can make the throw on the run, he has above average field vision and hes fast on his feet, especially at 6 foot 5 he reminds me of a big A** Mike Vick, lol. But yeah I like Vince alot I would like him more if he played for a different team, I personally dont like the Titans, But I totally respect Vince Young as a great Athlete!

First of all, everyone who is saying he's the best player in the history of the NFL is an idiot. Period.
Did the Titans win the Super Bowl? No.
Did they win their division? No.
Did they go to the playoffs? No.
Well, what did they do? Vince Young had a couple of long runs, one of which was assisted by the stupidity of another player who shall remain unnamed. Don't get me wrong, he had a great rookie season, but that's it. Until he proves himself, I'm not ready to call him "the Michael Jordan of football."
They did start winning a few after he came into the starting lineup, but with a quarterback as bad as the one they had, no one had a chance to shine because the qb touches the ball every play and can make or break that play. Any mediocre quarterback can be inserted into a good system, which I believe Jeff Fisher's is, with pretty good players and have moderate success, which is what Young had.
To clarify my rant, I think he is a wonderful player, for a rookie, but he has yet to prove himself to be what so many people refer to as the greatest.

LOL ..... The guy has played a decent 1/2 of a season and you'd think the Titans were world champs. I seem to remember the same over hyped buzz a few years ago about Vick. Young has some talent but for some on here to call him the best QB in the league is utterly ridiculous. The only thing he has going for him right now is his legs. I hope Young takes the experience of Vick to heart and works on his QB skills. If Young thinks he'll have a long and successful career in the NFL as a running QB he is doomed to fail. Young needs to learn to read NFL defenses, he needs to develope touch and accuracy as a passer, and he needs to learn to run as the last option not his first response. Young could develope into a good NFL QB but right now he is a long way away from it.

Vince Young is a great player don't get me wrong but I don't think you can win a championship with him.

As BT stated he is too much like a Michael Vick.

Vick and Young are the type of players that can make bad teams good but they can't make good teams great.

Somewhat over-rated in my opinion. A great quarterback in college. I think he will do well in the pros if he stays healthy. But I do not think you're looking at the next Tom Brady. He's too much Michael Vick and the Titans don't have the supporting cast to put this guy over the top.

He had a good rookie season. The guys who were talking best ever, and automatic hall of fame are idiots though. If he can lead the Titans to a winning season this year, he must be good, because they are going to suck it up. Look out for the Madden curse though.
