They are great, you might want to check out Frank Black solo albums as well, they are also great!

This isn't a question - it is an opinion.
I loved Surfer Rosa. After that, I liked their CDs.
Unfortunately, the Pixies lacked one thing that makes many a band "the best ever." They lacked longevity.
