They will not go after a human, they are more the type of animal to run and hide. However if you were to handle one they will bite and the damage can be nasty.

No, not unless they were forced too, in most cases a Beavers defence is to retreat to the water, or inside its lodge. I had 2 beavers as pets when I was younger, they are quite loveable in fact and never bit us at all... wild beavers always slap the water and swim away. I have never heard of one attacking a human, one did attack a dog I knew though and ripped her belly open but thats because the dog attacked the beaver... she lived by the way and was fine, but hated beavers after that..lol

I don't think so....because beavers can sense these things and will rapidly dive while forcefully slapping the water with its broad tail. This creates a loud 'slap', audible over large distances above and below water. This noise serves as a warning to other beavers in the area. Once a beaver has made this danger signal, all nearby beavers will dive and may not reemerge for some time.

No. I have known a few trappers that have been injured by beavers. But they kinda deserved it anyway.
Beaver are primarily nocturnal and very wary. So the chance of a beaver coming in contact with a human on a lake or river at night a pretty slim.
Like most animals, if you mess with it, it'll mess with you.

There is only one reason a beaver will attack anything - that's when something or someone gets too close to the animal and its den. Leave the animal alone and it will leave you alone.

well beavers do bite and you will get sick but beavers do not attack humans (do not pick 1 up)

if you threatened them and if they had babies i am sure they would bite ,and they got some nasty teeth
