Probably not if you're having sex without protection, but otherwise, it has been shown that sex is beneficial to your health.
Here's what I dug up:
Prior to the culminating moment of an act of love, orgasm, the brain emits a dose of oxytocin – the hormone of the posterior lobe of pituitary. Oxytocin results in the production of sedative endorphins – natural analogues of morphine. Sex spurs the production of estrogen with women – the substance, which eases premenstrual pains. Therefore, sex is the best painkiller.
Plus, it's the most enjoyable form of cardio exercise! :o)

Sex does play a role in health.
Sex causes a release of endorphins, feel good hormones. It raises heart rate which can be good for the heart.
In men, frequent ejaculation, through sex or masturbation, has been connected to reduced chance of prostate cancer. In women, vaginal stimulation, through sex or use of a toy, helps prevent vagina atrophy especially after menopause.
Within a relationship, sex can actually help to maintain the bond as during orgasm oxytocin "the bonding hormone" is released.

Its a personal thing. If you are in a loving relationship and you fulfill each others needs then sex can be a wonderful addition to your life. If its a chore or something you just don't feel then its not so much a big help.

There have been numerous studies linking positive psychological health with a healthy, loving relationship that includes regular sexual intercourse. In addition:
A link has been demonstrated between prostrate cancer and lack of regular ejaculation in men.
There is some suggestion that orgasm helps a woman's PMS. In addition, orgasm can loosen the uterine lining and reduce the length of a woman's period.

If you ask a doctor, they will tell you that if it's enjoyable it releaves stress.
But there are other ways to releave stress too so it's a personal preference.
Nun's and Priests live a long time with no sex, well most of them don't have sex anyway

I would say sex is good in a relationship. But anymore not having sex is probably healthier with all the diseases that can be spread.

Every time you orgasm it boosts the level of the hormone DHEA, which supports your immune system, repairs tissue and acts as an anti-depressant.
Reaching orgasm also has a positive effect on stress, high levels of which are linked to raised risk of heart attack.

uh, yeah. there have been tons of studies on this.
orgasm releases serontonin, melatonin and other pleasure chemicals into the hypothalamus.
why do you think there are sex addicts?
and...it is very good for you. for a man, it is 300 calories burned.
and, it lowers blood pressure.
look it up.
do a "sex stress study" search on google.
or,
just have fun running your own test data and see if it is good for you.
