and ppl ask where im from and I say where i live they always say never heard of it.. even if im like an hour away from my town...
this happen to anyone else?

Yes...I've even had someone say they didnt even know Arkansas was a state once..and I think they lived in Tennessee.

Yeah, I live like half an hour out of the main city and everybody in there has never heard of where I live.

Sadly, no. I'm from a town where the school is nationally ranked in education, and musically (go marching band! Hahaha).... and the football team is okay. we're known... it sucks.
