In terms of domesticated animals. Picardie is known for its dairy and beef cattle.

Picardie has some excellant bird sanctuaries such as the Parc du Marquenterre. The estuary of the Somme is one of the most significant European stopovers for migratory birds. Nearly 340 species have been identified, including certain particularly rare ones such as the Great Bittern or the Garganey.

The Baie de Somme is home to the largest colony of Atlantic harbour seals in France.

maybe you will get an answer there!!
