I have a gay sister, and shes fought it all her life. She was born that way. Its like a defect, like down syndrome. Why is it that ppl dont understand this. Did YOU choose to be straight, or were you born that way?*

First you said some and then you presume (what percentage) or that all were born that way?
Personally I believe (Some) choose to be gay, perhaps because they've had some bad relationships (or no relationships) with the opposite sex. And everybody has to love / be loved by someone sometime. So in desperation......

I don't think you choose to be gay. It's either you are or you aren't.
Some choose to be fat, but most don't wish to be fat.

I personally know someone close to me who chose to "switch' sides out of discouragement in finding a mate!Now the real question is was she gay to begin with!...LOL

They chose to be. No one is born gay. Though some people do chose to be fat. Gay is something they acquire. Fat is their lifestyle. So they get it.
