Most catfish aren't salt tolerant which rules out every listed. (Pleco are catfish) The most common brackish fish you'll find are the live bearers. Molly, and guppy can live in salt water if the change is slow. Platy, and swordtail are good in brackish waters. Some goby, and puffers as well. Of course there are freshwater puffers, and saltwater gobies.

None of the fish you mentioned can live in a brackish environment.
All Livebearers can live in a brackish environment.
All the other brackish species I know of grow very large except for some Puffers and Gobies.

From my own research, I know that corys are NOT very tolerant of brackish ph. I don't think the others are either. They need hard alkaline water. Although its not a fish, I read that mini red claw crabs actually thrive in brackish water. That could be fun. If you don't want that, I know that Bettas and Mollies do well with a little freshwater salt. Good luck!

Puffer fish? I'm not sure the others can, especially the Catfish and a Common Plecostomus...

Just clean your aquarium and stay up on basic water changes and maintenance and you'll be far better off than adding any of the freshwater algae eaters to this aquarium, because they won't survive long.

corys are very salt intolerant -- i wouldn't try keeping them in anything more that 1 tablespoon salt per 5 gallons -- and add that gradually. 2 tablespoons per 5 gallons kills them outright. you should be able to keep more fish in a 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons mix.
