(a) Two sides of a parallelogram are given by the equations 2x+3y = 4
and 3x + 5y = 8. Find the equations of the other two sides of the

(b) Find the equation of the diagonal passing through the point (1, 1).
(c) Is this parallelogram a rectangle? Explain your answer.

To start, draw a picture and then compare the slopes. since you know the point (1,1) and the slopes, you should be able to plug it into y-y1=m(x-x1) and get those equations.

To check if it's a rectangle, use the distance formula

Better check your numbers, Trent. This doesn't look like a parallelogram at all.
