This one woman campaign was able to show that President Bush's war is wrong and devastating to America and the world....

It is true that most Americans do care more about who will be the next American Idol than how many American lives have been lost in this devastating war.

I respect Casey Sheehan far more than his dictator coddling mother. She sides with Castro and Chavez, socialist totalitarians...

..as do you.

She is a traitor.

and how can anybody respect that?

No she doesn't ... she's not what I envision to be even remotely a decent mother! The only thing she showed me was how self centered she is. For over two years her sons grave remained UNMARKED ... why?

I would have thought after receiving $250,000 from a service members group life insurance policy, plus receiving 100,000 death gratuity from the GOVERNMENT she so hates, she could have purchased a nice marker! No, she was much to busy to bother with that task! Oh and it was TAX FREE to boot!

Yeah... some kind and loving Mother there, that would have been one of my first priorities if he had been my child!

She's a leech! I hope she enjoyed her ride on the back of her deceased son! I've always thought of her as an attention whore (just a puppet for the anti-war crowd) and a fool ... I think she realizes that now too!

As the user name says RUKIDDING?!!!! I can't believe some of you people actually fall for that act. (OK, I did expect you to fall for it.) Not only doesn't she have MY respect, she didn't have the respect of her son when he was alive in respect to the nonsense she spews. "Good-bye America ... you are not the country that I love" THIS is what she says about the country her son so valiantly fought for?! And she has the audacity to say "Good-bye America" and she's only going home to California--she's not actually leaving! I guess she can't tell the truth anymore. I'm sure Hugo would love to take her in.

Oh....I haven't watched "American Idol" since the first season, but I care a lot more about that than Sheehan's opinion on pretty much anything!

she is a loathsome traitor who had no problem with the war or the president in his presence. when attention turned elsewhere she had no problem shitting on the proud memory of her son in return for some press coverage. Her husband had the right idea. I actually despise you more,Humus. you lack even her meager excuse!

Remember people that almost 3500 young American soldiers and upwards of a half a million Iraqi's have died because George Walker Bush and his lying Administration got them into a war based on lies. George Walker Bush doesn't care what the American Public thinks, he has proven by his actions that he will see things how he wants to and to "H" with the voters of the United States. He could really care less, he can't fool the majority anymore with his lies and deception. Just like he claimed he never used "Stay the Course" as much as he did and here he definitely proved himself a habitual liar. January 20, 2009 could come soon enough to get this Liar out of the office of President of the United States as he has done damage and credibility to the United Stattes that will take decades to mend and gain the Worlds respect back for the United States.

I respect that Cindy Sheehan lost her son in the war and that it's a terrible tragedy that nothing can make up for.

However, Cindy chose to put herself in the limelight after his death and by doing so invited the criticism she has received as does anybody who takes a public stance on a hot-button issue.

Her loss does not make what she believes any more correct.

No but her son does! She didn't show me anything about how Bush was wrong and devastating to America and the world. That's just what you were hoping for I guess. She did show me how unbelievably misguided some people are. It's pretty sad that she is the way she is. Her beliefs aren't just against Bush. They are against her fellow Americans. What exactly was the reason that she had communication with Hugo Chavez?

Cindy Sheehan did more than any other single person to legitimize being against the war. She finally cracked this insane argument that you couldn't support the troops and oppose the war (dusting off an old Republican argument from the mid 1990's with Somalia and Kosovo). Cindy led the way for the anti war movement, and the Democrats should be thanking her for the 2006 election result. It's no wonder she's disillusioned the Democrats sold her out last week - but that in no way diminishes her contributions. And she did all this despite all the public criticism and personal threats.

Thank you Cindy.

She deserves a slap in her ugly face! She has took a dump on her son's grave every single time she opens her big mouth! Her son volunteered to serve his country and did it with honor and this woman is a disgrace to him and all of our troops. "Was able to show..."? Really? The only thing she showed was her *** and she should be ashamed. For your 411, I don't watch American Idol and I care a whole heck of a lot about the security of America. That's what war does! It keeps us safe! Sure, we don't like it! It's bloody and ugly, people die, but sometimes to keep our peace and freedom it's a must! God bless our brave men and women that selflessly serve so we can be free!!!

She doesn't deserve respect, she deserves pity. The woman lost her son, lost her mind, and got used by the Left. She could probably use some cash too, since she sacrificed her job to go on the road and stump for surrender for a few years, living in ditches in Texas at times.
