Yes all Z71 chevy trucks are 4 wheel drive.THE Z71 is the off road package for chevy trucks.

no.not all Z71's are 4 wheel drive. they were up to the new model change this year. the new model now comes in a 2 and 4 wheel drive version.

Well it used to be that all Z71's were four by fours, the Z71 being an off road package. However, in full size trucks in the latest generation new for 2007 the Z71 package can be had on a two by four as well. The Z71 stickers on those trucks say "four by four" in small letters under the Z71 part on four by fours and just Z71 on two by fours. Check out chevrolet.com if you don't believe me....

No, but what a waste of time and money. That is a big step towards decreasing value as well as the number of people who would even consider buying it if you wanted to sell. Better idea to save or use money to keep maintenance up such as fix a.c. when broke or be able to afford tires when necessary.

as of 2006, the z71 off road package was offered in 2wd as well so no, they are not all 4wd. there are some people (don't know why) who converted earlier ones to 2wd. so they are out there.
"there is always an exeption to the rule" 6th grade english.
think about it a second. there are never any absolutes (6th grade math/8th grade science, and most HS and pre-grad schools)
