Okay, so my friend is going to spain for 4weeks in the summer and I wanted to make her a mixed CD to take on the plane. Do you guys have any suggestions on what to put on there? Anything about planes or Spain would be awesome. Also anything else is good too. She likes Alt/Rock, Rock, Indie, and some powerpop or punkpop. Thanks so much!

I love introducing Sister 7 to those who can
appreciate it.

Their two cds are: This The Trip
and Wrestling Over Tiny Matters

They're one of those bands who "nobody knows about,"
but they're so d@mn great!!!!

Try also the Gipsy Kings cd, Tierra Gitana.

Happy travels to all.

Iron Maiden's albums Powerslave, and Somewhere in Time should do the trick, as well as any Corrosion of Conformity album after about the early 1990's

Don't forget to make a second CD for her plane ride back. Heavy on the "Living in America" & "Born in the USA" style tunes.

This might too much of an "oldie" but "Never Been To Spain' by Three Dog Night fits the motif.

Start it off with some good metal like Korn, Disturbed, Hatebreed then kick in some taproot, sevendust, chevelle, nonpoint, a little staind but not the mushy stuff, and toward the end kick in some angel and airwaves, my chem, authority zero, yellowcard, and finish off with some Everclear (not everlast or you will piss her off) Good luck..............
