How do we get rid of moles in our lawn?

We have active tunnels all over the lawn, and have tried grub control and a mole trap. Neither has worked

A good idea is to get a long 10 foot pole and put a spinner on the top with a directional fin on the other end, so when the wind blows, it will change direction as the wind blows. The moles can't stand that vibration and scoot out of there in a hurry.

The only surefire way I know of is a cat. I have tried every home remedy known to man. When I called the county extension office, he recommended poison; when I was reluctant to use that, he said a cat was the only other option.

I sympathize though... they have eaten so many of my bulbs, and walking through certain parts of my garden it is so mushy I feel like they must have an entire underground city complete with subway system...

You might want to try putting human hair down the holes, or unwrapped sticks of Juicy Fruit gum-if you do the gum it has to be Juicy Fruit or it doesn't work, I don't know why. If you are sure that children or pets cant get into the holes you can put broken light bulbs in the holes too, it will cut their noses up and they will move on. You must put this stuff in every hole.
