Google Documents...?

Question

I've created a document using google documents. When I use the e-mail option and it sends as a word document the formatting is all messed up when I open it thru the e-mail. I've also tried as a pdf and the same thing happens. How do I send the document the way it's viewed thru google? Help please

Long shot: what about trying Edit HTML on the screen, then copying/pasting the viewed contents into an email? (Yeah, I know, it's a hassle!)

Personally, I haven't had any problem using the Email at the top right of the document screen and sending as word document, but then, I've been sending the docs to other gmail users...I just now sent one to my yahoo userid but, I have that forward, backhandedly, to my gmail email address
