I would vote for Drew Brees. He has consistently put up numbers and has been on some clubs that are close, but he hasn't gotten one. He will someday, I'm sure of it.

Everybody seems to love Brees and McNabb. They're good QBs, but not the best without a SB Trophy. That honor goes to Trent Green - technically he has a ring, but he was on IR the entire season when St. Louis won so I don't count him as a super bowl winner. Look at his stats since 2001 when he became a starter for the Chiefs. Nobody has been better in that time span, with the exception of Favre and Peyton Manning. The lowest passing yard total he's had since then (excluding last year becuase he missed half the season with an injury) was 3700 yards. He had over 4,000 yards and 26 TDs (including a couple rushing TDs) 3 consecutive seasons and 4 straight seasons with over a 90.1 QB rating. He did all that without a #1 reciever. The best WR he's had on the team would be a #3 on most the depth charts in the NFL. Brees and McNabb can't come close to matching those stats.

Drew Brees is good but he is not the best QB without a ring I would have to say Donovan McNabb. Drew Brees wasnt good until his starting position was being challendeged. He didnt even make it to championship games with low rate receivers (But awesome tight end). If Donovan McNabbb wasnt so injury prone he would have a ring. He has always been good and concisent without a solid receiver when he did aquire a great Wideout like TO he went to the superbowl and loss to the amazing Patriot Defense dont blame him for that. Mcnabb is awesome when not injured. Drew Brees comes to the saints (by the way I am from new orleans love the saints) With great receivers like Joe Horn, Marques Colston, Devry Henderson, and were a tremendous upgrade over his wideouts in san diego. And he still couldnt GET to the superbowl where mcnabb got to the superbowl with an injured TO

Donovan McNabb. Doesn't get enough credit for being the man in Philly. Romo has played half of a season he can't possibly be considered one of the best right now. And what Brees doesn't have that McNabb does is 7 playoff wins including 4 title games and a Super Bowl appearance. Other than Peyton and Brady, I wouldn't want any other QB other than McNabb simply because he has had more success than other QBs thus far, and not to mention has done all of that with almost nobody around him (TO was one year, and they won the title game without him, and Westbrook has only recently emerged as a star). Tony Romo..?? After half a season? Please, he has been in one playoff game, give him a few years before you "put him in Canton" as Parcells himself said.

I look at this as what QB's have have been around awhile and have been consistently good. While I am an Eagles fan and would like to say McNabb....Steve McNair hasn't won yet and he has been around longer. Don't know how anyone can say Tony Romo..come on!...Brees and Palmer are close, but I just think they need to have a few more season. McNair is the best pick because he has been around a long time, always a starter, lots of success,etc..

Comes down to the following:
Carson Palmer
Drew Brees
Donovan McNabb
Steve McNair
I'm gonna go with Steve McNair since he was 1 yard short...
and he's been in the league the longest out of the bunch

based over the last several years, it has to be McNabb. Problem is, he needs to stay healthy and complete a full season. Otherwise, I agree it is probably Brees or Palmer.

carson palmer. he has a great arm, good accuracy, and makes good decisions. he also makes audibles at the line, so hes kind of like peyton. if it wasnt for his injury in the playoffs 2 years ago, he might already have a ring
