I've lived in a ghetto all of my life.
When I was growing up it was a German ghetto. Now I live in a Caucasian ghetto. It's very limiting. I have to get out of the ghetto to meet other kinds of people, but it's doable.

living in the ghetto is just like living everywhere else, people adapt, the only differance is when u actully realize that you DO live in the ghetto, you get this.... quite unexplainable feeling. But when you have washed ur pots and pans in the tub. Youll know

It's a truly enlightening experience.
I have continual access to entertainment when I listen to my neighbors fight.
It's easy to get someone to cut my lawn for $10.00
I can leave my doors unlocked at night because the professional criminals know I have nothing worth the risk.
The pizza delivery people know my neigborhood so well that they never get lost and so my pizza's never late.
I have similar music tastes to that of my neigbor's who have loud, late night parties.
What's it like living in the suburbs?

Its harder. You don't have pretty gardens. you can't leave your door open in the day time. I think all the ghetto's are getting cleaner.

I drove through it 50 years ago, scary, as it was the Bowry in NYC. Very scary. The windows had to be kept up, doors locked and forget the red light, drive straight through.
