I'm not a fan of Rosie's, but I am so tired of Elizabeth's whiney, self centered, arrogant rants. She strikes me as not being a very kind person. I don't see her as very empathetic. I can't think of one conversation that she has participated in where she showed she was concerned or caring about another human being.

She talks so fast and interrupts other people so often, I can't understand much of what she says. I didn't realize she was 30 years old; her behavior made me assume she was 22 or so- very immature. In the last few months that I watched the View, I have not seen her show a warm, compassionate or gentle side- she seems very brittle and bittchy

I don't think she is a mean or non-caring person at all.
I don't agree with her "view"(s) and I am sorry Rosie is gone.
R made the show ALOT more interesting to watch.

Everybody likes controversy, people!!
That is why the Jerry Springer crap has been on t.v. for years.

You have it wrong, Elizabeth is a very kind person. And compared to Rosie, who is a belligerent bully, Elizabeth has done a lot to explain to Rosie why people where not happy with her opinions. Rosie does not want to listen, she is a coward and wanted Elizabeth to fight her Rosie own fight.

I never really thought that EH was mean before the last couple of weeks, now I wonder. I am expecting her to get her own show on FoxNews soon. LOL.

She's so self-righteous. That's the thing that gets on my nerves the most. The chick acts like her $@$@$ is made of gold and that her man would never cheat on her. It's great to be in a secure relationship, but she's so judgmental when it comes to people and their actions that it's astounding.

I loved her feigned outrage at Imus also. Was funny.

Edit: LMAO@Salemgirl. OMG, I can't wait til rank 2 so I can come back and give you a thumbs up. That was hi-la-ri-OUS!!!

Elisabeth is a ditz and very annoying, but I wouldn't call her mean. She tries harder because she has 3 others against her. She seems very family oriented and I think has trouble accepting that Joy & her boyfriend live together and Rosie is a lesbian. Hard for her to understand.

I am surprised that you think she seems mean! Do you really watch the show. As a matter of fact the poor girl rarely got a word in edge wise. Rosie could always state her opinions but when Elisabeth tries Rosie just talked over her. It was about time Elisabeth actually stuck up for herself and made her opinion known!

I think she is a good person but people like Rosie bring out the worst in her. Rosie seems to be hard to get along with so I admire Elisabeth for not letting Rosie walk all over her.

She isn't empathetic. She's a conservative. Those are the people who say, when they see a person who is out on the street in ragged clothes and begging for a meal, "You just need to go get a job" or "Get away from me, pig".

That having been said, Rosie is a morose, self-hating bully. She likes to rant herself, and will bulldoze anybody who tries to rebut her on points.

And as I hear it directly from Rosie's blog, she is staying mad at Elizabeth. She let her gf talk to Elizabeth on the phone for a while, but wouldn't herself. She added "I doubt that I will because I don't see the point" -- in about those words.

There's blame to go around. But Rosie has to take her share. - - And of course, she won't. She's in martyr mode now, dark circles under her eyes, wearing a headrag, and griping about an outbreak of acne on her latest blog.

They are both so self-absorbed it's pathetic.

She strike me as being self righteous, but remember she is pregnant so maybe it's the hormone.

Yes, I agree with what you are saying. I don't think the word is 'mean', however. It is more like she is emotionally detached from others. And she reminds me of the spoiled rich kid.
